Come join Al Kabia in discussing how ideas of manhood affect men’s relationship with health and wellbeing at the White Ribbon Conference.

Al Kabia is a Ryerson University School of Social Work graduate. Despite being passionate about working with the most disadvantaged and marginalized, he is very zealous about health and fitness. His main objective is encouraging people to have a balanced holistic outlook about health and fitness, in doing so this fosters a healthier lifestyle.

Al is a certified personal trainer, natural bodybuilder and currently working in the mental health and addictions sector. He has worked with kids, youth, newcomers and advocated for social justice and equality. With all his diverse experiences, he has had the privilege of understanding the complexities and intricacies of human behaviors and the effect of social conditions that defines and dictates what it means to be man.




Join us and our speakers at ‘What Makes a Man’ the White Ribbon Conference on Saturday February 12th in a discussion-focused conference looking at the spectrum of identities, experiences and realities that determine ‘What Makes a Man’.
